The Hibiscus Room is located directly above the café and the hustle and bustle of the morning. One of our more spacious rooms, it has a king-size bed and will comfortably accomodate a pack and play for your child, or a roll-away cot for an extra guest. The bathroom, which has an old claw-foot tub, is separated from the bedroom by a short hallway, providing a little extra space and privacy.
The Magnolia Room, on the second floor has a queen-size bed and is just down the hall from the library. It has a shower instead of a bath tub. This is our "coziest" room, giving perhaps, the quaint feel of staying at Grandmas house for the holidays.
This is our library, a common area for our Hibiscus House guests. This area is open to the public daily while we are here and to our guests anytime during their stay. While we sell used books, feel free to borrow anything on the shelves while you're here. In this room you'll find a phone, and if you are musically inclined, we have a piano.
The Turner Room, our second "coziest" room, is so named for the artist whose prints adorn the walls. Just off the screened-in upstairs deck, which is a nice place to sit, it overlooks the courtyard. It has a queen-size bed and an old claw-footed tub for a bath.
The Art Deco Room looks out on the courtyard and gardens from a screened porch which it shares with the café. It has a king-size bed, decent sized bathroom and is located on the ground floor. It is both kid friendly with room for a roll away cot and pet friendly. It also has it's own back door which leads out to the Backyard of Love.
Across the courtyard you'll find Woodpecker Cottage. This "mini suite" has a queen-size bed and a small living area that provides a nice view of the garden. The bathroom has a shower, instead of a tub. The Woodpecker also has its own little screened in porch.
While you are here, please feel free to enjoy the greenery. We have a variety of flowers and herbs, including roses, hibiscus, sage, mint, palmetto and dill. You will most likely see one of our feline friends ... Hef, Scarty Cat & Amos enjoying the gardens as well.
